Another death
On New Years eve, a 14 year old boy who lived just down the street from us, was killed. Everyone in Emma's school was upset...there were grief councellors, an early closing for the funeral and a memorial service for those who couldnt attend. Last night, another 14 year old boy in her school died. He choked to death on his food. It breaks my heart when someone so young dies. Hugging my kids a little closer now.

I am so sorry to hear this! How is Em holding up? It is so hard for kids that age (if we have trouble with it, how much harder is it for them?!) to handle these things.
